Flu Shot Clinics

Looking for the 2023 VNA Flu clinic Schedule? Click here!

Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes, even death. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all individuals aged 6 months and older get a flu vaccine each year.

This year, as we continue to battle the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is even more important to get vaccinated from the flu. Public health leaders are urging everyone to get the flu vaccine to both protect ourselves and prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed with sick patients.

The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) flu clinics help ensure that our community is protected from the flu. The VNA provides community immunization clinics each fall. When you get your flu shot through the VNA, revenue from the program is invested back into the local community to provide home care.

Due to COVID-19, all individuals who wish to participate in our flu clinics will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Subject to availability of vaccine, VNA will offer Pfizer Covid bivalent booster shots to those 12 years of age and up. You must have completed your primary series and be at least 2 months out from your last Covid vaccine.
